As valued customers of Evoque E-Bikes Canada, your adherence to the policies and procedures outlined below is crucial in ensuring a smooth warranty process for the products you have purchased, including those of other brands we sell.
1. Warranty Eligibility
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser, provided they have the original purchase documents. It excludes non-electric bikes, electric scooters, motorcycle-style e-bikes, and electric mobility scooters not sold by Evoque E-Bikes Canada. This warranty is non-transferable.
2. Warranty Period
The duration of the warranty for various products is specified as follows:
Electric Bikes:

Frame: 1 year (up to 4000km)

Motor: 1 year (up to 4000km)

Battery & Charger: 6 months

Lights & LCD Display: 6 months

Other Electrical Components: 1 year

Other components: 1 year (up to 4000km)
Scooter Style E-Bikes, Motorcycle Style E-Bikes, Mobility Scooters:

Frame: 1 year (up to 6000km)

Motor: 1 year (up to 6000km)

Battery & Charger: 6 months

Lights & LCD Display: 6 months

Other Electrical Components: 1 year

Other components: 1 year (up to 6000km)
Dirt Bikes:

Engine Only: 6 months (Covers manufacturing defects only. See Section 4 for exclusions.)
3. Warranty Coverage
The warranty we provide addresses any manufacturing defects in materials or craftsmanship and includes the replacement of the following defective parts:

Lithium-ion battery, frame, forks, stem, handlebar, headset, seat post, saddle, lights, bottom bracket, crankset, pedals, rims, wheel hub, freewheel, cassette, derailleur, shifter, motor, throttle, controller, wiring harness, LCD, kickstand, reflectors, and hardware.
4. What is Not Covered

Excluded Parts: Brakes (including pads, rotors, and cables), tires, tubes, plastic housings and shrouds, pitting, scratches, chips, grips, chains, and spokes.

Accidents, Misuse, and Wear: This warranty strictly covers manufacturing defects. It does not cover damage resulting from accidents, crashes, misuse, abuse, overuse, or other forms of man-made damage. Gradual deterioration from normal wear and tear is also not covered.

Dirt Bike Engine Exclusions: The 6-month engine warranty for dirt bikes specifically covers manufacturing defects. It does not cover damage resulting from improper service, lack of maintenance, or deterioration from normal wear and tear during operation.

External & Environmental Damage: Damage from water, road salt, power surges, or exposure to extreme environmental conditions (including freezing temperatures) is excluded.

Labor: The labor for any warranty repairs must be carried out at the original store of purchase. Evoque E-Bikes Canada will cover the cost of the replacement parts only.
5. Limitations and Exclusions

Modifications: Modifications from the original design or intended use, such as pulling trailers or using the bike for commercial purposes, will void the warranty.

Unauthorized Service: Service or parts replacement not performed by an authorized Evoque E-Bikes Canada dealer/technician will void the warranty.

Sole and Exclusive Remedy: The repair or replacement of a defective part is the sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty. Evoque E-Bikes Canada shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to, damages for personal injury, property damage, or economic losses, whether based on contract, warranty, negligence, product liability, or any other theory.

Final Determination: Evoque E-Bikes Canada reserves the right to make the final determination regarding the existence and cause of any defect and whether a claim is covered by this warranty.

No Liability for Personal Loss: Evoque E-Bikes Canada is not responsible for any personal loss or damages, including but not limited to loss of time, loss of use of the product, inconvenience, or any other incidental or consequential damages arising from the product or its use.
6. Software Updates
Our e-bikes are not connected to the internet. Any software updates are a manual process. Customers must follow the specific instructions provided by Evoque E-Bikes Canada to perform any updates.
7. Warranty for Purchased Parts
This warranty extends to defects in materials or quality of bike parts for 90 days post-purchase. Evoque E-Bikes Canada will repair or replace defective parts free of charge. It does not cover damage from improper use, lack of maintenance, accident, abuse, or damage from foreign substances. All covered items must have a valid warranty sticker. Chargers must be compatible with the lithium batteries sold by Evoque.
8. General Disclaimer
This document represents the entire express warranty offered by Evoque E-Bikes Canada. To the fullest extent permissible by applicable law, Evoque E-Bikes Canada disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including any warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Evoque E-Bikes Canada is not liable for damage resulting from the use of non-compatible chargers or modifications that alter the bike's intended use.
9. Governing Law
This Warranty Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
10. Warranty Claim Procedures

Proof of Purchase: A valid proof of purchase is required for any warranty claims.

Contact Us: Should your product show a defect, contact our customer support at contact@evoqueca.com or the authorized dealer where it was purchased in a timely manner.

Evaluation: After an initial review of your claim, Evoque E-Bikes Canada will determine its eligibility. This process may involve a thorough inspection of the product and a review of the warranty terms.

Inspection and Shipping: If further inspection or repair is required, the bike/part must be either taken to the original purchase location or shipped to Evoque E-Bikes Canada. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs.
